Wendy Dyer Biography
Wendy has been called a “fun and fierce” consultant because she knows that fundraising is a serious business and she also recognizes that people want to be comfortable and enjoy the process. She believes that fund development comes with laughter and sometimes a tear or two, but always a lot of behind-the-scenes intense work.

High expectations set for her and for others have helped nonprofits attract significant amounts of donations, even doubling their fundraising results in a handful of years.

Her “team” philosophy engages everyone in the fund development process, from the person who answers the phone, to the Executive Director and Board Chair, and, of course, to the donor - can't forget about them!! Everyone is of equal importance in the sometimes fragile, but always emotional world of fundraising.

Working with your staff or Board, she will encourage even the most hesitant to find their place in securing enough money to provide quality programming and services that make our communities healthy and happy.

Her entrepreneurial spirit comes in handy in the third sector, and she has co-authored countless books for the do-it-yourself market, and is co-owner of U.S. patent #6,168,438. Her unique style was developed after many years in Resource Development at Saint Louis University, and she is proud to have served the nonprofit community as a consultant at WD Inc for 15 years.
